From 9 to 13 February 2009, Halil Vedat Firath Iklogretim Okulu, an Istanbul school visited South Harringay Junior School and Crowland Primary School. This was the first stage of a partnership between the schools to look at each other’s school environment in preventing bullying and other acts of violence.
During their visit to the Haringey Schools, the Turkish teachers were given a tour of the schools and a visit to number of classrooms. They met each school’s Head teacher, the senior leadership team and class room teachers.
